Dubai Safari Park Opens its Doors for Season 8
Dubai Safari Park has officially opened its doors today on the 12th of October 2026, welcoming guests to Season 8, its wildest season yet.
Here’s what guests can expect during the Wildest Opening Week - 12 to 18 October:
A unique day-out with something to entertain the whole family this school mid-term break. Located in the African Village Plaza Area, activities include:
Little Explorers' Base Camp: a dedicated adventure zone, located at African Village Plaza Area, created especially for younger guests. Little explorers can play and discover through a wide range of activities, including safari face painting, a temporary tattoo station, clay model coloring, arts and crafts, lawn games, safari-themed inflatables and much more. Open from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Wild Creations Clay Station: A hands-on creative activity where children can choose a safari-inspired animal figure, personalising it with their own colours and designs. Each child receives an individual painting kit including a white animal figure, paints and brushes, with characters such as lions, monkeys and hippos available to choose from.
Wild Ink – Temporary Tattoo Station: A fun, quick & highly interactive activation for children and adults. Show off your wild side with your choice of safari and jungle-inspired temporary tattoos, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, monkeys, paw prints & tropical leaves.
Safari-themed inflatables: Bringing high-energy fun to the Little Explorer’s Base Camp, the inflatable invites little ones to let our their wildest side in a safe and secure setting.
Little Explorer’s Lawn Games: Challenge friends and family to a giant safari-themed lawn game, choosing from beloved classics like Connect 4, Jenga, Tic Tac Toe and more.
The Wild Welcome: A high-energy, 25-minute family stage show celebrating the reopening of Dubai Safari Park for a brand-new season.
Guests can continue to Live More Wild Life throughout the season by exploring the park’s wide range of experiences, such as drive-through safari tours, daily live presentations and close animal encounters, helping them build a deeper connection with wildlife.
Safari adventures: The Arabian Desert Safari Tour, which comes with all park tickets, or the Safari Bundle upgrade with the Explorer Safari Tour to see lions, giraffes and rhinos in open-range habitats.
Premium experiences: Packages such as King of Safari, Behind the Scenes, Dine in the Wild and Jungle Capture, offering private tours, exclusive access and dining near the animals.
Live presentations: Bird's Kingdom, Echoes of the Wild and Birds of Prey, offering insight into animal behaviours and the park's conservation message.
Dubai Safari Park welcomes guests starting Monday 12 October 2026 at 9:00 AM and is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with last entry at 5:00 PM.
